The story

What Jain Olympics actually is

Jain Olympics is the largest event on the JAY calendar. Organised by the Jain Association of Youth, it brought together around 600 participants for a full multi-sport championship — track events, indoor games and field events, contested across age groups over a packed schedule.

It works because sport does something no speech can. It puts a schoolchild and a grandparent on the same ground, gives families a reason to spend the whole day out, and turns a town into one enormous, noisy cheering section. The competition is real; so is the handshake at the end of it.

Behind the scenes, Jain Olympics was made possible by months of planning, teamwork and hard work by the entire JAY team — from drawing up fixtures and securing grounds to running the award ceremony that closed the event.

What made it work

Award ceremony

Honouring performance, celebrating excellence — medals, trophies and a formal prize distribution to close the championship.

United through sports

Around 600 participants building new friendships and stronger connections within the community.

Months in the making

Our signature event

Family Relays

We designed this event for family members to compete as one team, and that is what makes it special.

A 200-metre relay where every team is a family, sharing one lane and one baton.

Nobody wins it alone. The result belongs to the whole family.
