Six creative tracks
A different discipline each session, so every child finds at least one thing that genuinely clicks for them.

The story
Umang — A Creative Summer is JAY's learning summer camp, held from 17 to 23 May 2026 in Nokha. Umang means enthusiasm, and that is the entire brief: take the long empty stretch of the summer holidays and fill it with things worth waking up for.
The camp runs six distinct modules across the week — art, sketching, brush calligraphy, crochet, yoga and, in a nod to the world these children are growing into, a set of AI classes. Children rotate through them, try things they have never tried, and find out which one they are quietly good at.
Every module is led by mentors from within the community, and every child who completes the camp receives a certificate of participation — handed over in front of family at the closing ceremony. For a lot of them it is the first certificate with their name on it.
A different discipline each session, so every child finds at least one thing that genuinely clicks for them.
Sessions are led by volunteers and mentors from within the community, not outside contractors.
Every child who completes the camp is formally certified at the closing ceremony.
From art to artist — the idea that a week of real attention can start something lasting.
Six tracks, one week
Children rotate through every one of them across the week.

Who is behind it
The mentors from our Jain community who led all six creative classes, sharing their skills, time and passion to make every session meaningful.

The camp is designed for school-age children and teenagers. Groups are arranged by age so that each module suits the level of the children in it.
The 2026 edition ran from 17 to 23 May at Terapanth Bhawan, Mahaveer Chowk, Nokha. Dates for future editions are announced on Instagram.
